Unemployment and its rules…

Another person said They came thru customs. When the officier asked about employment. The person said unemployed.. Customs thought drug handler and went thru the person luggage like it was nothing..

I feel the clutter is holding me back!  I looked at some items and thought.. I remember that and this!  I saw an old paycheck stub.. a tear drop fell from my eye! *singing* It’s out of my life… (old MJ tune!) I miss the money I made..  But we can not dwell in the past..  It solves nothing!

Thanking God! I made it this far..  I’m surviving!

As I check my blog stats . I noticed, this is the most read blog. I have not been on UC for awhile.

Just curious, Are checks being delay again for work search results or other reasons.  I do know Florida is borrowing monies from the federal govt to pay UC benefits.

Therefore, the person would see the  ins and out of  the shift. In this market, Folks might comply with it. I was like umm  I dont think so ! Also if i dont the job, it’s 8 hrs of my life .. I cant get back.. *singing* I lost on jeopardy baby! ..

Supposedly, this is a common practice in this field.

Observation does wonders! Also it could be a weed out process.. Folks become comfortable in a setting by the 4th hour..

If you want a job, you may have to above and beyond for a job! Would you be really to do this?

I was having some blood drawn by a state employee. The phlebotomist went to one of those rip off schools.  She liked the job. But, when she said her hourly pay per hour.. I was like dammmmmmmmmmmmmmn!  I asked her about her  certifications and any other medical degrees. She sd She did not have any.  The phlebotomist believed It would not increase her pay.

State of Florida has great benefits. ( I dont know how long.. Tallahassee is trying to cut state employees in numbers and benefits.. shidd they are already not making anything)  anywho!

The phlebotomy as a stand along job. It does not pay. I was add somethings to CNA, Xray and EKG..

I guess I cant dwell in the past!

Anywho! I had a bad night. I was ready to walk.. God knows me.. I had texted several friends and said .. Somebody better call   and calm me down. I’m ready to walk off this job! *ding.. vibrate* What’s wrong?  A guy friend told me.. It’s a recession! You cant leave a job.. Get your composure and stay on that a job!  *ding .. vibrate* What the hell is going on? Nah! You cant leave this job till you have another job! Great group of friends  and family to calm and love me thru a storm! I’m thankful for them! By the time, my shift was over. I had several calls.

One theme, What kept being  said thru out the phone calls, chats, or text messages.  I dont want nobody else to be unemployed in Florida!  There are 1 million Floridians unemployed

Even with some of the stupidity of this temp job, I had to say to temp representative.I don’t want any fired  because I dont want anyone else have to apply for Florida unemployment.  It is not a fun status to receive in life.  Nor am I trying to revisit unemployment line.

I belong to a message board about employment. I am beyond shock about folks wanting to move to Florida. You want to move to Florida.. Why? Do you know, we have nurses without a jobs? Mostly every field has been hit by the recession in Florida. . If the recession has not hit it, the wages has been lowered. Research before moving to Florida. Sadly, Folks are leaving Florida. They can not afford it. Texas and upnorth states are receiving former Florida residents! May we all survive the recession with our sanity and health!

I will reevaluate in the next year.  If I have to move, I hope to move to a warmer or warm state.. No Snow! No Mas! I hope, I’m not yelling out the window on I75.” The last employed Floridian dont forget to leave the light on for us who us who want to comeback! ” as I speed out of Florida!

The mucus was killer! The nausea was never ending for a minute. I had constant vomiting too!

Did I say constipation?  I was texting good friends like day 9! No BM! lol  I have a weird sense of  humor.  The naracotics of the medicines will keep you lock up. You need to drink plenty of water and Activia . Let me say this! Say no to any laxatives.. That is all. I have to say about!

What issues do I now have a month  later?  I am dehydrated alot as of late. My uvula swells and causes choking and coughing issues for me. So I try to drink 32 oz to 64 oz of water. I’m still a Gatorade a girl! I still have referred ear pain. It is not as great as it was the 2nd week after surgery. Keep those ears covered and warm. I put Sweet Oil on a cotton ball and nuked it for 5 seconds. It gave me such relief in my ears.

Some reason, My feet are cold too. It could be circulation issues.  I’ve had 3 post op visits. The last visit, I was diagnosed with GERD.  I was given Prilosec. (Just a little note: A previous surgery, the doctor gave me Prilosec before the surgery. I had no GERD related symptons)

I have not looked at the back of my mouth for two reasons, fat tongue blocks view. I reeally dont want to see back there. Keeping it real! I can feel the scabs.

It’s probably best to take off 2 weeks of work. I took off 1week. I’m still playing catch up with my rest.

Popsicles are not working either.  Ginger ale, sips of Gatorade and water, i can manage to get down. No one told me about the excessive about of saliva.  uggh!

Dont buy ice cream too thick! Buy fruit sherbert, you dont want to deal with the mucous . yuck!

I’m sleeping alot! there is nothing more than what I can do!

Take your medicines on time.. you will feel it.

Right now, i’m working a temp job. I’m looking for a side job too. I got to play catch up real quick.

I cant believe that I was unemployed for a yr and half. (i’m not counting my eggs before they are hatch) Right now, I try to do ‘mission work ‘ to newly unemployed. It’s not a great place to be.. but if u do some things  .. it can be an ok life event! Not perfect! Not bad! Just ok!
