Get The Sam F*ck out of here!

Technicially, I have one more day at this temp assignment. This morning, I jumped up and went on a job website to copy and paste my resume on it. I applied for jobs most of today.

The call center was quiet. I was into my own mind and calls from customers. All of sudden, i realise … It was quiet. I looked down one row.. no one I look down another row .. no one.. I’m like WTF?  has happened here. Folks have become real Lassie Fariez. So, I’m like aww shish! My headset beeps with a new customer. Again, I’m into a call. When I peeked my head up. Folks reappear into the rows.

An email came to certain temps. I was not on the list. Ha! Ha! The email came from the Temp agency lady. The temps on the email has been select for an extended assignment. I was shock who was and was not on the list.

*singing* Damn! Why want to stick me for my paper?

TV Boy was even on the list for extended assignment. Ok! WTF? For Real!

So I was talking to a ‘temp’ friend and said  Hi in the bathroom. She asked was I taking the extended job. I said I was not invite to ball, in my Cinderella voice.  I told her that I was ok with it tho’. Everything is not for me to have. What is meant for others. It is not meant for me.

As i was talking in the parking lot to other temps. One of the mgrs of the impromptu call center asked me Did you get the email? I said no. Mind you it is 6pm. He goes well you’ll get an email. Huh? HTF? I’m going to get an email. We gone!
fast forward.. Now, I get this call from the Grimreaper (temp agency lady) @8pm tonite.

*pushing the fast forward on the dvr button*

She goes (fakeness shines thru the damn phone call) SMILES!. I’m like WTF is this in my head This is Grim. Aha shish.. Oh everything is fine. Aah shish..She stated.

What is this mess on my phone? Now , I regret answering the phone.
She goes on to tell me that the extended position has been offered to me.. Huh?

Now, My off day is Friday. I have appts set up! for medical and job wise.  (keep this in mind)

SMI-LES The job is a specialassignment . Your hrs will be 8-6pm.This friday and saturday 9-5p I’m like huh again! It will only last one week. THEN  you’ll work Monday -Friday 8-6. Grim stated.  This job initially started as 6 day a week 12 hrs a day.

You know I dont mind working to make a living.  This is ridiculous. I’ve already set up appts. Yes things change in the temp world .. But, I’m supposed to drop everything. GTFOH?

I told her that I have appts set up already.
So I told her that I have an appt for PT at 730am b/c my previous (current) work hrs were 930a-6p.  I have an interview with an offshoot branch of this temp agency for a longer assignment.  I did not state that what my 730am appt was for. She asks What is your tomorrow appt for? I said PT . I sd I’m already in trouble with my ortho dr. Oh well you have to do what u have to do.. We will regroup tomorrow on this conversation.. She says!

I’ve never heard fakeness shine thru the phone. But she put the nail in the coffin with it.

aggh! Temp World is maddening!
