Late night job applying
Sunday I found myself looking thru my email account. I had receive a state job notice. I had applied for this job in the past. I was turned down with no interview. So I did the KSA’s for this job, meticiously. It pays low. But, the state pays for further education. I’m down for that any ol’ day. I wonder Do the recruiters look at the time the application was filled out? Temping pays the bills temporarily. A job covers What it covers?

Can you step to the side please?
It will be something that I will dread hearing from the temp person.
Friday and Today at 6 pm, The temp agency lady asked folks to step to the side after work.
Friday, I was stuck on a Vietnamese call with an interpreter. So I was oblivous to the atomsphere. When I popped my head up to leave the cubicle. I said Oh Shyt! The temp lady who had been firing folks. She had a slew of folks lined up on the side wide. The temp admin pushed me passed them and out the door. Those folks were let go from the assignment. Some were allowed to go to other assignments. Some had jobs elsewhere, already. Some were told tuff turds.
Today, A different temp lady was standing outside in the lobby and sd Can you step to the side please? I pointed to myself. She sd No! My friend behind me. She was asked to step aside. I saw a cube mate also on the side. I called my friend and said Are you ok? She said Yeah I was screaming or hollering. They let us go tho! I shook my head and drove off.
In the parking lot, I saw folks talking to the ones let go! I thought, Wow! One said I dont like being scared. I need to find me a job before they say to Can you step to the side please?
Survival is hard in temp world. Each day, you hear someone is being laid off or what not!
Today , other folks at my former job was let go! More folks into the unemployment line!

Escorting off the campus by the security guard
We had two csr’s who were escorted off of the campus today. One sat by me. She was off chain. I truly believe that she was an alcholic. The temp rep came to her desk with a bright smile. Thirty minutes later, She was escorted off the campus . Why? She refused to leave the call center floor.
It’s never a good look to be escorted off campus.

playing on myspace and watching free movies
We heard sirens in my row. Everybody looked at the window and saw sideways rain. The siren was from a movie. We are csr’s, not movie watchers! At least the person can keep the sound down. So everybody do not hear it.
Myspace at work, Folks are texting and what not.
When they are walked off the campus by the security guard. It wont be nice
Sometimes, they give you enough rope to hang urself!
Personally, I’m thinking cash!

Temp Chronicles
I’ve added a new entry. I am now ‘temping’ for living. I appreciate my unemployment check. But, it was not covering the bills. I can work as long as It is something that I can work.
Two fridays ago, I was tired of my UC. I called several temps places. I’m registered with 7 of them. Wow!
I called this particular temp company. They had a job that I had worked at another agency. The agency gave me their satellite number agency. I called themand received the run around . I called back to head temp agency. They had a CSR position available. I did my online application in 30 minutes. I put on my professional gear and headed to their office. One typing test and 30 minutes later I had a temp job.
Here is the catch! I am working 6 days a week, 12 hrs a day. Whooooooooooa!
A sister is tired like a mofo!
This is my second week of this assignment.
This section will have interesting tidbits about my assignment.

I am having difficulty with a company. The company does not want to admit fault. I’ve googled the problem and still .. They are passing the buck! Wow!

summer colds
I hate summer colds or allegies. It drives me crazy. Either, I’m too cold or too hot. Smells drive me crazy. I’m sneezing, crying and coughing all over the place. I might goto the beach and jump in the salt water does wonders.
